Exhibitions: plate 26: "The daily lesson of a Moslem boy at a mosque school. The verse from the Koran is written on the shoulder blade of a camel until the student knows his lesson; this verse is then rubbed out and another takes its palce. The Koran was orginally written in such fashion."
