Views of Hong Kong from the 1860s to the 1920s' (CO 1069-446). The Government Civil Hospital functioned from 1849 until 1937. The building in the photograph corresponds to the hospital’s third site, completed in 1879. It is not clear what is indicated by the writing in pencil on the print ('Nursing Staff x').
